Selfies – on tablets and smartphones in supermarkets and specialty stores they are unsuspectingly left behind by those taking selfies!
Whenever I’m near computer stores, I look at the available equipment in search of new photographs. I then connect from the devices on display to my own smartphone and transfer the image data.
By inverting the image data on my smartphone, I create a positive analog image on black and white photo paper in the photo lab through contact exposure. From the existing distance between the smartphone display and the photo paper, a blur is created, which leads to an anonymization of the person photographed
