Erik Arkadi Seth's work serves as a critique of the simplified perception of photography and the forgetting of its practices. Through the inversion of document and staging, Seth shows that the practice of photography - and not just the finished image - should take center stage. His approaches deconstruct traditional assumptions about photography and challenge viewers to re-evaluate the hidden processes behind the images and the meaning of photography in an increasingly digitized and also AI-centric age. Seth's work reflects a deep engagement with photography as a democratic medium.
