As a contribution to an exhibition I decided to send a bouquet of flowers. On the Internet, I ordered a bouquet from a local florist to be delivered to the show venue just before the opening. The bouquet should be in any place in the exhibition. Therefore, as a greeting card, I sent along assembly instructions that were handwritten by the florist and enclosed with the bouquet. The florist added the word “sympathy” to my text.
Due to the irritation of the set-up assistants, the bouquet was placed in a chamber beyond the White Cube.
